Agenda Item:  CEBA Loan                       Presenter: Kandace Forward

Discussion:

·         Bank has not approved loan for 40,000 so we’ll need to pay $60,000

·         We were denied due to weak credit

·         Full amount is due in 2yrs

·         Payments are$250

·         LBOT does not have a LOC but Kandace will apply

·         Martin- can we use building as collateral

·         Motioned made to go ahead with credit application ( GA,  AB)

Agenda Item: Campground Lease                                                                    Presenter: Kandace Forward

Discussion: Kandace met with Jamie Doyle, we own building not the land. We decided we need to sign the lease and re-address in the Fall. Martin stated that we need a proposal to hire someone to see about moving LBOT into Zwicker building.

Motion: Approval to sign lease for 1yr (AB, GA) All in favor

·         Adam is fine using his space but will press them again. Hilda can do trivia, maybe live music

·         Adam and Martin to kick it off

·         Ask Clearwater, Comeau to sponsor

·         Tapnbe recently moved to Lunenburg

·         Products are window clings,QR code, business cards, pet tags and mapping.

Agenda Item: Student Wages                         Presenter: Kandace Forward

·         Minimum wage is increasing to $15.20 in April.

·         Should we offer employees $1 more ($16.20)

·         Decided to give employees $16 and manager $18 per hour.

·         Increase 20%

·         We will be higher than most of our competitors but staying in town of Lunenburg is unique.

·         We will still have rates for shoulder season and will honour booking we already have at previous rates.

·         Arthur Macdonald and Hilary Grant rewrote and changed a lot of words.

·         They did survey and we did a survey.

·         Hilary would like us to take it to council- we will in March.

·         We decided to all look at it before next meeting and discuss then.

·         Questions need to be tailored to our questions
