COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SESSION REMINDER:
The Town of Lunenburg is creating a Sustainable Cultural Tourism Plan, and your input is key. Attend a Community Engagement Session for your chance to share your ideas and thoughts.
To accommodate different schedules, there will be two sessions held, both on March 5, 2025:
• Session 1: 1pm – 3pm
• Session 2: 4pm – 6pm
Both sessions will be held at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic (68 Bluenose Dr.)
These two-hour sessions will feature breakout groups with station sessions, facilitated by our consultants and our Cultural Tourism Working Group.
Your input will help ensure Lunenburg’s heritage is preserved, our local culture is celebrated, and tourism grows in a way that benefits both residents and visitors alike.

LUNENBURG, NS – 107.9 Go Rock has been awarded the prestigious Sound of Success award at
the 2024 Canadian Radio Awards, recognizing the station for the best smaller market radio
marketing campaign in Canadian broadcasting. The Sound of Success award from Canada’s
leading broadcasting publication, Broadcast Dialogue, celebrates excellence in radio marketing,
with 107.9 Go Rock emerging as the top choice among entries for smaller markets across the
nation.
Competing against stations owned by massive corporate-owned media giants, the locally owned
and operated 107.9 Go Rock stood out as the winner. A jury of seasoned radio professionals
selected Go Rock’s marketing campaign as the best in the country in smaller radio markets,
highlighting its exceptional creativity.
Scott Clements, owner of 107.9 Go Rock and a proud Lunenburg County resident, shared his
excitement:
