Agenda Item: TIANS Conference. Presenter: Kandace Forward
Discussion: This year's TIANS conference is November 28th &29th. Kandace and Martin will attend. Fisheries Museum willing to split cost. Cost to LBOT is $525 plus meals.
Agenda Item: TOL Request Presenter: Martin Salvador
Discussion: Mr. Doyle asked for financials. Martin asked what they wanted specifically at town council meeting. Martin will send last 5 years of finances.
We need lease signed. Robin to meet with Doyle and is hoping to get 5year lease. We can’t get any grants without lease.

-Museum gave us $3000
- have it next year early October
- there’s a conference October 4th with 100 delegates

$2000 budget - $500 of that for Light up Lunenburg
Next year fundraiser for fireworks. Approximately $10,000
Parade- working with Autism NS to have a sensitive free zone.
Agenda Item: Small business Networking Presenter: Kandace Forward
Kandace sent out invitations. Martin didn’t like the timing of event. Would like to change it to an evening. After some discussion it was decided to change it from November 27th from 10-4 to Friday December 8th from 12- 4. Small business owners can stop by for a chat, a drink and food. Call it Chowder and Cheer. Martin will look after catering.
Kandace will contact Susan Corkum Greek to attend. Town Hall employees will be invited. The event will be promoted on website.
Agenda Item: Staff and Training Presenter: Kandace Forward
November 1st is last day. Shut down process has begun. Kandace would like Courtney to stay on until end of November to get training for manager position. It was decided to give Courtney 20hrs a week until end of November.
Agenda Item: Lunenburg/Queens Excellence Awards. Presenter: Kandace Forward
Kandace would like to re-vamp it, make it lighthearted and fun. She would like to have new category- Female Entrepreneur Award
Not sure where to host it, Best Western not available.
Adam will approach MSV Women’s Centre as a possible presenter.
Agenda Item: RV Show. Presenter: Kandace Forward
Discussion about if this event helps us or not. Adam would like to have some sort of gauge to see if people come here because of the RV show.
It was decided to not attend this year and keep our budget as small as possible.
Addenda Item: Bathrooms. Presenter: Robin Joost
Bathroom ventilation needs to be installed for $1000.
