Discussion:

Renovating was very expensive during Covid

We feel all the media’s questions were answered

No individual received personal compensation for work on bathroom renovations

Discussion:

·         Kandace’s contract due May 31st

·         Adam will review and performance agreement

·         Second person will be German

·         Kandace has the AM for two days a week in April

·         Full time mid-May

·         Staff is hired for the summer

·         RV tours are giving 25% deposit for this year and next year

·         Movie- they won’t be here all the time, mostly in Chester

·         Atlantic Chamber AGM is May 28 & 29th. We decided not to participate but decided to attend TIANS in Whitepoint on May 27 & 28th

·         Ironworks is hosting on April 25th from 4-6 pm

·         We’ve been leasing our old payment terminals

·         Need to be upgraded

·         Clover system is $700 plus tax or rent for $20 a month

·         Kandace filled out an application for $15000 grant.

·         Works with tap, digital mapping and some way finding too.

·         We decided to keep our current map and print only 20,000 if we get the grant then we will refresh our maps

·         Canada Day - $3000

·         Streetfest- $1000

·         Oktoberfest- $3000

·         LUL- $2000

·         Use campsite 32 for a charging station

·         We decided to go ahead as long as there’s no charge to us

Agenda Item : Regenerative Tourism Incentive.       Presenter: Kandace Forward

·         There is an Awaken workshop  July 9- 11

·         Because we’re focusing on waterfront for tourism, this will be beneficial for Kandace to attend

·         It was decided to allow Kandace to attend for three nights in Wolfville

·         Partner with FMA for cost
