Minutes of Lunenburg Board of Trade Council meeting

5:15pm; August 24, 2021; at the LBoT Boardroom

Present: Sam Eisnor, Gale Fullerton, Jason Huskilson, Robin Joost, Lynne Mackay, Jamie Myra, Willie Wells. Staff: Administration Assistant; Renea Babineau, Campground Mgr; Kandace Forward.

Call to Order:   5:25pm by Jamie Myra.                       

Approval of Agenda:   (LM, RJ) Adjournment set for 6pm. – Passed.

Approval of Minutes from previous meeting:  (RJ, LM) – Passed.

Business Arising from Minutes:         

AGM planning; October 20; 6pm – 8pm at Old Fish Factory.

 Bylaw revision, Membership Dues, Respond to Minutes from November 19 AGM

New Business: (RJ); Fire Pit Installation.

Motion:   (LM,RJ) For the Campground to remain open until October 31 – Passed.

Winter Events: Light up Lunenburg Committee; Kandace Forward, Penny Zwicker from the  Fisheries Museum and Recreation Director, Kelly Cunningham.

Fund raiser for SHAID featuring David Miles and Heather Rankin.

(Renea Babineau); Shop Local Grant update; Bring Santa in by boat.

(JM/Bea Renton); Snowflakes on poles for Christmas. Lbot to purchase up to 10 Snowflakes. Craft Fair, Sales Events November 27,28,29.

 (JM); New Directors: Sam Eisener; Director at large. (Fireworks experience).

 Gale Fullerton will stand again.
