Council Minutes January 10th,2023

 Minutes from the Lunenburg Board of Trade Council meeting:

9:00AM – January 10, 2023 at the Board Room

Present:    Sam Eisener, Gale Fullerton, Jason Huskilson, Robin Joost,Jamie Myra, Willie Wells.                  

Staff: Administration Assistant; Renea Babineau, Campground Mgr; Kandace Forward.

Call to Order:   9:10am by Jamie Myra.

Approval of Agenda and Set Time for Adjournment: (WW, GF) – Passed.

Approval of Minutes from the last meeting:

Business Arising: (JM): Meeting with ToL CAO. Would 1year renewable lease(s) work for the Campground until the Development is closer to breaking ground? Is there a plan for the old Fire Hall? Marketing Levy Status?

(Renea Babineau): AGM Details; January 26, 6pm at The Old Fish Factory Restaurant; 68 Bluenose Drive, Lunenburg.

 (Kandace Forward / Renea Babineau): Summer Staffing Questions re: Wages- returning staff $15.60/hr. Assistant Mgr. $16.50/hr.

 (Kandace Forward / Robin Joost): Renovations update- Public Washrooms: Outside - almost done, Inside – Well underway.

(Renea Babineau): IT Issues and Plan Going Forward. 2 systems in place. Resolve duplication issues to save $.

(Renea Babineau): Bursary Details Feedback

(Renea Babineau): Campground done separately.Speak with Renea.           

(Renea Babineau): ToL Community Grant Application, (In kind services we can use to make Town events run smoothly:(ie street closures for Santa Claus Parade.)
