Minutes of Lunenburg Board of Trade Council Meeting

5:15pm – January 13, 2020; at the LBoT Boardroom

Present:        Claude Baril, Susan Corkum Greek, Robyn Ernst, Gale Fullerton, Lynne MacKay, Jamie Myra, Tim Reibling, Alicia Van de Sande, Willie Wells.

Approval of Agenda: (JM)       

Call to Order: 5:21pm. Adjournment set for 6:30pm.

Approval of Minutes of November 12:          N/A. Will approve next meeting.

Business Arising:       

Revival of Business after 5?    - Renea to contact Heather at Town Hall re: Business Promotion.

Moving next AGM date? Motion (CB):     To move the next AGM date to January  2021. (LM) – Passed.

Bluenose 100th -  January 27 @ 5:15pm.

Bluenose Academy Mardi Gras Sponsor request?  No, but if we can help promote it, we will.

 (LM)    Digital Map and Marketing Questions.   - Do we need it? Motion (SCG):  To not renew Digital Fusion Map anymore. (LM) – Passed.

Committee Reports:    Events (JM):     Yuletide Festival: LBoT budgeted spending up to $2,000. We  spent $1,825. Expenses exceeded revenue by $104. LBoT to cover shortfall as it falls within our budget.

                                    Strategic Planning (LM) – Next Steps. Disaster planning -  What if we lose the Campground?
