Council Minutes March 22 2022

 Minutes from the Lunenburg Board of Trade Council meeting:

5:15pm; March 22, 2022

Present:   Sam Eisener, Gale Fullerton, Robin Joost, Jamie Myra, Will Wells. 

Staff: Administration Assistant; Renea Babineau, Campground Mgr; Kandace Forward.

Presentation:   

Lunenburg Cultural Collective; Sheila Woodcock and Joanne Young.

Call to Order:   5:12pm by Jamie Myra.

Approval of Agenda and Set Time for Adjournment: (WW, GF) – Passed. (6:30pm)

Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting: (JM, RJ) – Passed.

New Business:

(GF): Marketing Discussion – Advertising: print more Kiosk Maps; Support smoke detector for Bluenose Academy.

(GF): Insurance Question – Sewer backup for $68 per year.

(RJ):Issues with building – Siding installed incorrectly (had to be replaced after 8 years - Deferred.)

(Renea Babineau): Finalized Budget; (Attached).

(JM): ACOA Main Street Grant – To be discussed at next meeting.

(JM): Bike Lane Update – Renea will be on committee.

(Kandace Forward/Renea Babineau): - Security issues on Campground: Pod Washroom damage. Need 2 WiFi cameras.

  (GF): After Hours Socials – Starting in May; First Tuesday after Victoria Day.
