Council Minutes November 23 2021

 Minutes from the Lunenburg Board of Trade Council meeting:

5:15pm; November 23, 2021; at the LBoT Boardroom

Present:  Sam Eisener, Gale Fullerton, Jason Huskilson, Robin Joost,  Jamie Myra, Will Wells.Staff: Administration Assistant; Renea Babineau, Campground Mgr; Kandace Forward.

Regrets: Special Guest Speakers, George Anderson and Andrew Tanner from Lightship/Saltbox Brewery. They will try to come in February, 2022.

Call to Order:   5:17pm by Jamie Myra.                       

Approval of Agenda:   (RJ, SE)) Adjournment set for 6pm. – Passed.

Approval of Minutes from previous meeting:  (RJ, JH) – Passed.

New Business:

Motion: (GF, JH): To add Administrative Assistant; Renea Babineau as a signing authority -                        Passed.

(Renea Babineau): Forming Committees and planning meetings.

(Renea Babineau): Repayment of CEBA loans. Motion: (GF, SE): To move $40,000 to a GIC until it is time to repay. – Passed.

(Kandace Forward):  People’s Park Christmas Blessings Supper. (Halifax)

Motion: (JH, RJ): For the LBoT to contact the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and offer to donate $500 to the event - Passed.
