Minutes of Lunenburg Board of TradeCouncil meeting

5:15pm; October 12, 2021; at the LBoT Boardroom

Present:   Sam Eisener, Gale Fullerton, Robin Joost, Lynne Mackay, Jamie Myra, Willie Wells. Staff: Administration Assistant; Renea Babineau, Campground Mgr; Kandace Forward.

Call to Order:   5:16pm by Jamie Myra.                       

Approval of Agenda:   (GF, LM) Adjournment set for 6pm. – Passed.

Approval of Minutes from previous meeting:  (RJ, LM) – Passed.

Business Arising from Minutes:

(JM, Bea Renton); New Snowflakes on Poles for Christmas. Motion: (LM, GF)To spend up to $6000 on new 50” LED Snowflakes for Downtown  Lunenburg Shopping Streets. – Passed.

 (Renea Babineau); AGM Finalization; Bylaw revision, Membership Dues, Respond to  Minutes from November 19, 2019 AGM.

(GF); AGM Menu: Appetizer Buffet (4-5 items).

 Guest Speaker: Stephanie Beaumont, Rae of Hope Productions.

 Lunenburg Mayor, Matt Risser will attend.

(JM, Kandace Forward): Christmas Event Planning; Parade still a go, (it’s outside). There will be a Craft Fair at the Legion, (which will be also used as a warming centre). There will  be a Concert in the Bandstand featuring The Bridgewater Fire Department Band.
